Starting in August 2024, I will serve for two years as a Team Associate with the International Mission Board’s team in Osaka. As a Team Associate, I am not funded by the IMB, but I am forming a team of financial partners. This is a massive step of faith and a substantial financial investment that I believe God will meet. My goal is to raise $70,000 to cover my living needs in Osaka for two years. This will cover my rent, food, transportation, airfare, language school, ministry money, and everyday needs.

All About Me Japan is in great need of the gospel, less than 1% of Japanese people say they know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. That means that if you talked to 200 people out on the streets of Osaka, 1 or 2 of them might know Jesus and the rest would probably have never heard His story before. One of my jobs while being there aside from sharing the gospel is to build relationships with college students and young adults in hopes of starting a discipleship program and connecting them with the local church. I am so grateful that God is allowing and trusting me to be His hands and feet in Japan. With the excitement and gratitude I have for this opportunity I am praying for the Lord to continue working through the country of Japan! Hello Hi, my name is Brooke McClelland! I'm originally from Willis, Tx and a Tarleton State University graduate. I am excited to share that I am preparing to move to Japan to be a missionary there for two years with a main focus being college ministry and discipleship. My Story I started attending FBC Willis when I was a baby and at age 8 I accepted Jesus as my Lord & Savior and was baptized there. I was raised up, poured into and served First Baptist Willis. When I graduated from Willis High School I attended Tarleton State University and graduated in 2022. Most recently I was a special education aide for Stephenville ISD. I got involved with Paradigm (a college ministry) and FBC Stephenville my freshman year and have continued to serve the ministry through my college years and beyond that. While in college I was able to serve as a Bible Study leader for two years, be the youth intern at FBC Willis for a summer and FBC Stephenville as well as lead Paradigm Crew for three semesters. In the summer of 2023 I went on a month-long mission trip to Osaka, Japan with an organization called iGo Global. I was connected with The Flemings & the IMB team up there as well as serving them and their ministry. I came back to the States with God stirring my heart for the lost people group. He is calling me to go back and serve the Japanese people for a longer period of time. I prayed and meditated on God’s word trusting that He would lead me where I needed to be and at the perfect time. I am now preparing to go back to Japan with the International Mission Board until August of 2026.
