My Story
From a young age I was introduced to Christianity and started attending First Baptist Willis with my family and at age 8 I accepted Jesus as my Lord & Savior and was baptized there. I was raised up, poured into and served First Baptist Willis. When I graduated from Willis High School I attended Tarleton State University and graduated in 2022. Most recently I was a special education aide for Stephenville ISD. I got involved with Paradigm (a college ministry) and FBC Stephenville my freshman year and have continued to serve the ministry through my college years and beyond that.
I was first introduced to Japan in 2018 when I went on a one week mission trip and then in the summer of 2023 I went on a month-long mission trip to Osaka, Japan with an organization called iGo Global. I was connected with The Flemings & the IMB team up there as well as serving them and their ministry. I came back to the States with God stirring my heart for the lost people group. And over the years He slowly had me falling in love with the people and culture.
I've now been in Japan for 2 years and God is not done with me here yet. These past years I've been able to connect with lots of college students while slowly building relationships and trust. Through the deepened relationship comes the opportunity to talk more freely about spiritual things, have interest in studying Bible and attending church when an offer is extended.
